A BASSOON in folk arts? (Ref. your picture) How disgusting! This is the second time a bassoon has been seen and heard among the folky people. Go to Exmouth Folk Night at the Manor Hotel on the third Tuesday of the month or the Bicton Arms on the first Thursday and there one may be witnessed 'playing around'. Should this nonsense continue, there is no telling where this dying orchestral instrument will appear next? A very same 'criminal' bassoonist, Sydney E Hemsley
